The bumper is on and the 12k lbs winch is hooked up. The bumper is the DIY dirtbound off-road front winch bumper. It was really easy to set up and weld together.

haven't posted for a while. but the jeep is still coming along piece by piece. the HIDs are out and I installed new chrome housings and putco led bulbs. what a world of difference. I can actually see at night! the part number for the putco leds are 270004 these are h4 bulbs all you need is h4 housings and your set. also decided to get a little happy with bedliner and painted the lower rockers and front and rear bumper.
had a problem with death wobble for a while. it was first control arm bushing that was shot (I was a able to move the wheel and tire back and forth all by movement in the bushing) that's RC bushings for you lol. but I let RC know about my problem and they did me well sending replacement bushings for all of the control arms. once I fixed that problem all the play in the steering went to the track bar. what a nightmare. so what I did was get a 1/2x3" grade 8 bolt and drilled out the steel where the track bar mounts up to the axle and also drilled out the crush sleeve within the bushing( what a pain) but moving up to a 1/2 bolt solved the problem. I think the stock size was 3/8 way to little if youre running 33's.
been throwing around the idea of getting 35's for the jeep, currently have a 4.5 short arm. I would love to move to longarms and 6.5 leafs and coils but broke college that likes to wheel and money don't go hand in hand. so the question out there is. control arm drop brackets and 2" lift shackles and 2" coil spacer be able to get me enough clearance for 35's??
