Good stuff man - love me some truck lites and I like the LED lights on the inside too. I'm eventually converting all mine over too... right now I'm working on replacing and upgrading routine maintenance stuff though... wouldn't believe how fast all that adds up when it's been neglected for so long ya know?

Never been to that side of Maine haha. I am on the opposite side, (Bangor being the center) Over in Machias. I like the Ellsworth area pretty well, and it's not so bad here either!

I know what you mean about routine maintenance. One of the first things I had to replace was the rear brakes.

I been pretty busy with stuff in my personal life lately. The cargo dome light was an easy upgrade to LED. The overhead console has been trickier. For some reason, that I do not understand, LEDs won't work on the driver side map lights. The passenger side map lights work with LEDs. The interior looks better with LEDs. I'll get some pics later.

Yeah, I've been finding a LOT of LED vendors on eBay. Good to know there's plenty of options out there and it's definitely a mod i'll be fitting into the plans. That is weird about your driveside map light though.

It is spring which means good weather to work on the Jeep. Last weekend I did a good tune up: sparkplugs, wires, cap, rotor, and air filter. Also switched to AMSOIL with an oversized oil filter. Then I hit 150,000 miles! Today a buddy from ComancheClub did my leaf springs, ubolts, and shackles.

I been starting to get more active back on the site in the last few days. Since my last post on the build I have moved to Bentonville, AR. Yeah I know I move a lot, think I'm done moving for awhile. I have also been single for about a year now, divorced last fall. Now I work at Cabela's and getting to do more shooting here in the south. In three months of being here I have sold, traded, and bought a few guns. Also gonna be reloading after I get my new AR-15.

Before I moved, I upgraded all my stock speakers to Polk Audio speakers which are pretty nice.

Today a buddy from work let me use his garage. So I ripped out my headliner and did a good cleaning that has been over due.

Started to work on a new project for my Jeep recently. I have been needing new doors for awhile now. Found some in Springfield, MO a few days ago. They are off another 90 Cherokee with wing windows and electric mirrors/windows. I plan on painting the exterior and interior of them. Here is a sneak peak.

Haven't finished my new door project with all the rain lately. But it is a good thing I found those doors when I did. Now I have two new problems with my Jeep today. I saw a puddle of coolant under it today and it looks like a bad hose. A very unrelated problem is my driver door doesn't want to open all the way. Gets about halfway open and feels stuck. Good thing I don't have work until Saturday.

Also, I realized how dumb wrapping the entire armrest with 550 cord was. So I will only have the part that looks like / wrapped up. Wasn't thinking about the screws and 550 cord being in the way at first. With just that part of the armrest wrapped, I will still have 25 feet on each armrest. I could wrap more layers to have more available.

Thanks to cruiser on the "ask question thread" I did a temporary fix for my driver door. It was only opening halfway. So I took off the door catch pin and I'm using a zip tie as a limiter for now. Turns out the limiter only had one bolt/nut. A few days ago my Jeep decided to start pissing coolant. So I replace the coolant reservoir with a Dorman replacement from Autozone. Interesting note, that replacement won't accept the Volvo upgrade cap.

The Volvo cap does work... Just had to push down on it harder than I expected.

Today I flushed the old coolant out and replaced it with some new coolant. I guess the heater core is bad because I still don't have heat. Only have heat coming through the floor vents. Oh well.

Last night I was out shopping for coolant and other stuff at Walmart. Got pulled over because my driver tail light isn't working. Just a verbal warning to get it fixed. Yay, another thing to fix.

Not much really. Just trying to keep it maintained and need a better job to spend more money on it. One of these days I'll be swapping on those "new" doors. Still want to made some sort of grate for the rear windows. I joined a local off road club and the guys in the club are helping me with repairs. In the last few days my Jeep has been experiencing a rough idle/stalling problem. Got pulled over by a local cop and found out my left tail light is out. So those things are on top of my to do list. In the spring I would like to replace the front coil springs and get some new tires.

Thanks for your first post being in my thread
