You might want to reconsider AAL's. The rear leafs on your XJ look pretty toasted, especially the passenger side. With the stockers sagging that bad AAL's won't help for very long, and I'm guessing your main leaf is the shape of a recurve bow.
I'd highly recommend getting a full leaf lift, you don't need anymore suspension failure with your family aboard than you already had.
Good luck to ya, save that jeep!

Took my son "to the dirt" as he calls it. Just some washed out old dirt state forest road but he had a blast and thats all that matters in my book. It did give me the chance to make sure nothing was loose tho. everything held up fine so im definitely making progress with this project.

That is quite the interesting rust spot on the hatch. Cool Jeep, though. Glad you rescued it. Hurry up with interior pics! Those always get me the most excited.

Wow! That sucks about that first shop. I'd be taking their asses to court over that job. I take it you have the new D30 in already? Looks like you got a long road ahead. If you stick with it it should be quite rewarding.

Some interior pics, driver seat needs to be replaced or recovered but everything else seems fine to me especially for a 15 year old car. I wasn't a fan of the "wood grain" look so i pulled the center console trim and the door panels and redid the "wood grain" parts in black bedliner. Liking it alot more now. still need to do the back doors and im gunna do around the shifters and im sure il find something else to do too ( im addicted to bedliner now lol)
