Default Project "Rusty Demon"

hello all im new here to this forum and is also new to the jeep world. I can honestly say im addicted. I currently own a 2004 mazda Rx8 with to many mods to list but thats my baby. Im currently stationed over sea's and is now in the procces of clearing and returning home! SO. With that being said i was on leave a year ago and bought a 88 XJ with some trail master suspension lift. The jeep is PRETTY beat up and is extremly rusty. passenger side floor board from the toe to the back by the rear passenger seat, AND OF CROUSE the rockers are shot to hell. I dont have any pictures of the build b/c i am not home but i do have some pictures of my jeepy(thats what i call it) I am going to be on here regulary to get help/advice on this "rusty rocker issue" BUT. I was home on leave a few months back and was able to cut out the rust and throw some brand new 4.5 inch rusty shocks inplace of the old blown trailmaster ones. I was also able to cut some of the rust off the crappy rockers(thinking of making sliders...realy no other choice) but yes i cannot wait to come and start building my jeepy! I also picked the demon up for exactly 1k. with 100k on the 4.0

plans.

-4.5 rusty coils
-refurbish the already adjustable lower and uper control arms
-repair rockers and floor pans
-Fab a new front bumper(winch?)-hope
-new leafs
-bedline some ****
-definet roof rack and CB radio
PS jeepy sits already a little higher with the new shocks
but all in all IM SO PUMPED TO GET OUT THE ARMY AND GO WHEEL AND BREAK IT AND FIX IT!

Search through the fab section. Tons of bumper builds and tips available. The section is kinda cluttered with questions, but keep digging through the pages. If it has a high view count, chances are its interesting.

You can also get replacement rockers from quadratech. Floor pans too I believe.
