Finally made some progress this weekend. Got the cage cut out of the 89

Removed the rest of the top off the 90...

Had to cut 2 inches off the bottom of the cage, it ran through the dash on the 89 but I'm trying to keep a windshield so I ran it in front of the dash.

A few friends working on the cage...

Mocked up... Haven't welded it in place yet, still need to paint it and do something about the pain job on the cheromanchee before I weld it in place

Not really happy with how much of the dash is blocked, with 35's the speedometer is useless anyway but I still don't like it... I'll probably change it a bit.

The tool box will not be staying, I just shoved it there for now.
I still need to build a front bumper to tie the cage into, sure as hell not leaving that bumper on it! Since I pushed the cage back a good 5 inches the rear mounts hang over the back, so I'll also have to build a rear bumper to weld the cage to.
Once I figure out my mounting plates and bumpers I'll post pics of the design.

Hey my friend said that you didn't contact him about the skids so I wasn't able to truck them up north. He told me that he's sold one but still has the other. If you send him the money I can still train the one skid up to Fresno in a month when I go down to hungry valley for a wheeling trip.
