My motor mounts were hell also. My passenger side went on no problems. Driver side was another story. after messing with it a couple hours, i stuck the bolt through the engine and bushing then dropped the mount into the two holes... lined up perfectly. I was kicking myself for not trying that earlier. (yes, i know its what the directions say too)

Couldn't get it set so we replaced the trans mount. That didn't fix it either. I have yet to check if it set itself after driving home. On my list for tomorrow.

 

Few pics I had on my phone from the passed few days. Still working on the motor mount issue but in the mean time while I was waiting for feedback concerning the issue I was able to throw the spacers on. Took the 1.25"s on the rear and moved them to the front, then mounted the new 1.5"s onto the rear. It definitely feels more stable around corners and regular driving now especially since my front tires were around 3" closer together than the rears. Plus the tires fill out the width of the flares much better.

Nice. It's fine just leave it. I like the armor on it as well. I didn't know if they'd fit with the flatties.

i have lived in this town my whole life. i need to get out soon. are you gonna take that thing wheelin anytime soon? i just got my new drive shaft so i can drive the jeep again.

Hopefully Badlands soon. I have to get this trans and engine lined up properly before anything (hopefully get some progress on it tomorrow). Also need to bumpstop it. I want to go before winter though.

 

I've had the bushwacker flats on my xj for a few months now.. have bumped them off a few trees and they've held up pretty well.. my only complaint is that the mounting hardware didn't come with big enough washers and some of the nuts have ripped through the sheet metal of my fenders

 

Seems like the last nice day so I decided I had better take care of the rear undercoating. Had to pull the truck behind the house since its blowing like 25 mph here.

 

What are you using for the undercoat
