Gotta make sure the suspension cycles right! And I hear ya on the lack of recovery points...

No, I don't have a build thread. I never really did enough work to my rig that I felt it warranted one.. Wish I had the resources to make it a bit more worthy.. Ultimately it needs 31's, coils, shocks, LCA's, track bar, SYE and a locker.. But the DD costs about $600 a month so theres not a lot left for the XJ.. Sad thing is I bought the TrailBlazer because the Jeep was giving me too many issues. Turns out it was the ignition coil the whole time. A thirty dollar part..

$600 a mo. Damn! You must have a SS? Start a pickle jar like I did, never paid for anything with less than a 5 and put the left over in the jar at the end of the day. It doesn't seem like much but it adds up.

The bumper is finally on the Heep! Bout to run to HF and grab a pneumatic body saw so I can trim my flares and get them back on. Then all I have to do is mount and wire my lights.

Looks clean! Well done.. No its not an SS, though that would be cool. The 600 is a grand total is for payment, insurance and gas.. Assuming it costs me only 50/wk in gas... Either way, pennies add up to dollars. I have a change jar, but I need to work on regular deposits.. If I remember to, I take all the singles from my wallet at the end of day and add it to the collection.

Looks like I will be doing a little trimming. Gonna trim the fender a little and add a hockey puck just in case.

And here they are. Spikenutz!

Guess it's the minitrucker in me. I couldn't resist adding some completely useless flash. Still debating on polishing them or painting em satin black.

With the brushgaurd and "mini-tusks", it kinda looks like a Razorback. Good job.

Nice! Won't need to trim much it looks like. Really just getting rid of the flared metal is enough to clear the tire and make it look good. The puck will be a good extra measure. I've got mine waiting to be drilled and installed..

Painted my d-rings and spikes and wired up my bumper lights. Hope to get my flares trimmed, painted and installed in a day or so. Think the Durango alternator is gonna be my next upgrade. All those lights and audio are putting the stock 90A alternator through its paces.

Got my flares trimmed and painted, also had to weld new studs on my brackets. Hope to get them put on after work.

Ultra nice XJ!!! Good work too. I have been debating a header for my son's build, but I was told that you can't make a 4.0 sound good. How do you like it? Subbed
