There's not gonna be a ton of market for lifted 2wd Cherokees. You could sell it, but you wouldn't get NEARLY your money's worth. Just an Idea, if you have the space/know-how:
Buy a relatively stock 4wd Cherokee, that hasn't been wheeled or abused. Swap the tires, lift, and intake from your 2wd. Put the stock suspension, tires, and stuff onto your 2wd. Sell the 2wd, and have a 4wd with everything you had before. Hell of a lot easier, and if you bust *** you might have it done in a weekend or two. You could make a post meet with a couple Forum members in your area and throw a wrench party. And from experience... if you supply soda and pizza and a thankful attitude, they will come with their tools and skills to help a member in need.

i think ill go to pick n pull soon and see if i can manage to pull a HP D30 my self and maybe score a 29 spline C8.25 while I'm at it, theres no sense in building a 27 spline(i have one now) if i can bolt up a 29 spline and gear and built it up and swap her in

My local yard gets $150 per axle and $150 per transmission and TC. They are a bit pricy compared to others I've heard of. You should be able to get most of what you need for less than $500 even with the new rear axle.
Does the 2wd have the bump in the transmission tunnel for the TC under the drivers seat? If not that would be the biggest problem.

Im not sure. But i know its got a pop out cover for the 5-case shifter in the unibody and the center console. And i havent read anything about it not fitting but that doesnt mean much i guess lol. And the jys here are about the same price range i have plenty of 4x4s and a couple 29 spline C8.25s

We all start small. 3 inch lift and 31's, blah blah blah. Next thing you know, we're driving around on 37"s and every bell and whistle wondering where your paycheck went...

Yes it does. All 4 door unibodies were the same. In fact, even the hole through the body into the cab for the Tcase is there, its just covered with a little pop panel and carpet. I kicked mine out with a screwdriver and a strong boot Danner boots, never fail!

Hahahaha very true. If you did plan on doing the swap, CleenRob, you might as well run some upgraded axles: wether its a D44 or whatver your heart desires... Might make the whole thing worthwhile. I say this becasue I poured $$ and lots of time (and cuss words) and in the end, I have the same axle setup as most of these guys start with. So might as well jump ahead if you're gonna do it and put upgraded everything instead of doing what I'm doing...
