HOORAY!!

all my speakers work!! and my iPod plugs right in!!))
I had to do the same thing to my 89 when I got it. Made it hell a lot easier. Modified factory plug to have a ground and my amp turn on. Even went as far to take all the connectors out and solder wires on. Came out nice and clean.

Very nice!!

Well i just attempted putting a 98 shifter with a grand cherokee shifter **** and oolas being a PITA. She must be mad at me today. lol
What i came across putting it in is that the trans cable is a tad to long or stretched out or something to that affect cause i couldnt get it and farther than R so i put the old shifter back in it till i can go back and grab the cable from the XJ i pulled it from. And than ZJ shifter **** was a pain in the *** too!! I ground down the shifter tube(on the 98) untill i could get the **** on and off with ease ( but not tomuch) and then my NSS started acting up and not wanting to let it start so i jumped the starter :P
I also picked up the A/C pump and alternator brackets to gring down for a ZJ alternator and my taurus fan so i dont screw up the ones i got now

a ZJ tierod and drag link gonna clean em and paintem
I didnt really need the drag link but i only had to take off one nut for the whole assemly so i tookem both

And i got the climate control out of a 98 with thoughts of adapting it to my 95 but i think ill just resell it cause it looks to big and the climate setting dont look like theyll match up the way i wanted but we'll see

so im considering buying a 4x4 xj instead of a conversion mainly because i can't have my DD down for long and considering I've never done this type of swap it may be better for me to buy a 4x4 what do y'all think?

this one for sale in my area no idea what year it is tho http://sanantonio.craigslist.org/cto/3435614550.html

yea i don't have any jeep buddies or car buddys around me so gathering parts like axels and trans missions aint easy. my dads a mechanic and could help me but he thinks that vehicle were built a certain way and they should stay that way so he's useless lol. but yea i bought this xj cause it was lifted already and i could stand my jetta anymore the trans was going out and it was super small and not a jeep and id been wanting a cherokee for a while but obviously in a jetta i can't go wheeling so i though nah i don't really need 4x4 but then the jeep bug hit me and was all mad cause i couldn't really wheel in my xj eitherlol so ima try and pick up that red one and start from scratch
