Well I got a little done tonight. Was working on it by myself with minimal tools. But in order to finish putting the crossmember and supports in for the long arms, I had to take off my JCR rock sliders. Not permanent, they were just in the way for the install.
Also, after I took the sliders off, I noticed some surface rust on the floors. Not much, but in Wisconsin not much can turn into a lot fast and even to find a 14 yr old vehicle with no rust is hard. So I will be sanding the rust spots and refinishing the floors.

PROGRESS:
Well I took off of work today because its just been way to busy to get very far on this thing. So I took the whole day off. Pat (jeepcomj) came over and helped out and so did his roomate and my brother.
Went to the JY to get a Grand Cherokee (with discs) proportioning valve to add for my rear disc brakes.
Reamed out my knuckles to fit JCR 1-ton steering (chevy 1-ton ties). Ran some more cb wiring. Got the long arms up, axle up and coils on. Also installed the rear shocks. Worked on figuring out the rear brake lines. Found out I am going to have to modify the JCR stage 3 sliders to work with some extra brackets that came with the Rough Country long arms. The brackets bolt to the crossmember for added support.
Here is a teaser pic with a wheel just in place not bolted in:

I still have a lot to do! But hopefully its all less time consuming stuff. Tomorrow night I plan on re-surfacing my floors and getting the new u-joints in the axle shafts.
off the top of my head I still need to:
floors, u-joints, unit bearings, cut lower control arm mounts off (body side), brake lines, run steering and alignment, finish cb, install battery, install wheels/tires in front, spark plug wires, bumpstops, install front driveshaft, install tcase skid, figure out/modify and install rock sliders
I think thats it... haha

Jake, the XJ and ZJ prop vale housings are identical. You can just remove the internals.. all of it and install into your XJ prop valve housing. Check NAXJA for a few pics from me showing the differences and why you need to use ALL the ZJ internal parts.. including end cap.

thanks Wade! hoping tomorrow night it will be 95% done.
Tonight I installed the new axle shaft u-joints, fire extinguisher, buttoned up the rear except brake lines, and I cleaned up the surface rust on the floors and recoated them.

yep yep
Took the day off. Had some yard work to do, but also got some more work on the jeep.
Wade came over and my buddy Tim as well.
We got the axle shafts in. The new dust boots on the shafts. I got the new purdy unit bearings installed. I also got the tcase skid installed. Bolted up the front driveshaft. I also got the solid diff. cover on today as well.
I didnt get any pictures because it is dark out. I will tomorrow.
