When I got home though, I noticed I only got one leaf spring. Called RC, and UPS had it, just left it in transit dammit. So now I have to wait until tomorrow for that. I want to do the rear lift first.
Also got my stuff from Advanced Auto today in the mail. Another added thing to pissing me off, the optima Red top came in damaged! What a bunch of crap. Luckily Advanced Auto in town had one in and replaced it for free (obviously).
Nice! Sucks about the leaf spring and red top, but atleast you got a new red top, and the leaf spring will be there tomorrow. Good luck putting the lift on!

and as far as the lift goes, i figured if im keeping it, im just going to redo it the way i want and at the height i want. i was just going to upgrade to long arms, trim at 4.5" lift and 33's but i figured screw it and get a nice fresh lift to start again fresh!

Leaf was sitting by my door when I got home from work.
Heat and mosquitos were terrible but that wasn't going to stop me.
My brother came over later then he was supposed to but at least he came. I started before he got there.
We got the old stuff out, including my rear sway bar (finally). We got the new leafs and shackles installed. I butted up the 8.25 because I don't want to install the D44 until I do the work on it. I was going to take pictures but it got dark and I have about 100+ new mosquito bites all over the place. Didn't get the new brake lines in, but Im glad I got started. I hope the storms hold off the next couple days so I can continue whatever progress I can.

Also ordered my new tires and wheels tonight already mounted and balanced. I was going to get a set of 4 wheels from Pat, but I couldn't pass up a deal 4wd send me via email. Ordered 33x10.5x15 BFG KM2's on Procomp D Windows!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait!!!!

The rear sway bar was never a concern because I went offroad roughly 2-4 times a year and I was lazy. Don't worry its taken care of

As far as pictures, it is storming like crazy here and is supposed to all night. So work is at a hault tonight.

just found out today that my tires/wheels are going to take roughly 2 weeks to reach me. Other then that, I just picked up a XJ D44 with ZJ disk brakes and 4.88's installed from Scorp. So i'll be selling my stock XJ D44 soon.

well I decided to go with 4.56's instead.

Just ordered everything from National Drivetrain (NAXJA sponsor vendor). Got everything to install 4.56's into my HP D30 and my XJ D44.

So my second XJ D44 with 4.88's with drum brakes is going to be put up for sale.

What made you opt for the 4;56 vs 4:88's?

Well I wanted 4.56's because it seemed to be the best ratio overall for 33's. 4.88's have real good in town, but highway/freeway over 65 4.88's suffer a little. Plus I figured I can sell the D44 with 4.88's to someone who actually wants 4.88's and not even for the ridiculous price people ask for stock XJ d44!

Late pics of the lift when it came missing one of the leafs:

Then today, my gears and install stuff came one day early then expected. The guys at National Drivetrain were great to work with and fast shipping!!!!!

Tomorrow, my Aussie Locker should show up from Jeeperz Creeperz (it was cheaper to buy from them then from Aussie themselves because of shipping).

My KM2's and wheels should show up from 4wd in the next week to week and 1/2.

Can't wait.
