I thought the same thing too, but at 70 mph..which i will probly never go over this, will be running 2300 rpm. Plus, if i wanna go to 35 after i build the axles im good too and dont have to worry

How bad do you think 4.56 would do on gas?

It depends on what he wants out of it. With only 33s on an automatic tranny I wouldn't go higher than 4:10s if you want to be able to drive it on the highway and still get decent gas mileage.

If you're only looking for more power, sure go with 4.56s but don't expect good gas usage at higher speeds.

I like this chart the best. You want to stay as close to green as possible.

**note: the chart is for a manual. Automatic = more rpms at lower speeds, less when in overdrive (still stay close to green for highway use, lower speeds will equal more power due to higher revs than what is shown.).

See i have been reading back and forth and sometimes getting two diffrent views... when i calculate for my new ratio i get about 430... so 20 up or 20 down. which way to go?

Your Jeep looks great! Love those flat fenders too, might have to get myself a set of those.

found a new toy for the jeep! 799 bucks.

and i found a winch, lol, from this place called promark. used to be gorrilla. seems like alot of guys use them on their atvs...all the reviews ive read about guys using them on jeep/trucks whatever have been excellent. they make a 10k flavor for 390 or 450 for wireless.

i'm more worried about doing damage to the jeep. that is alot of weight sitting on the gutter mounts.
