What brand of bedliner did you use? I really like the way it turned out.

DupliColor rattle can bed liner. Did proper prepping and like 4 or 5 coats. Thanks, it's still holding up nicely.

Like the headliner. That's what I'm going to wrap my overhead console in

Thanks! That should look good!

Well ladies and gents, its about that time of year again. Yes, tax time. Haha. I've got some changes coming soon to my Jeep for sure and I'm stoked about it!:icon_cheesygrin:

As we know Christmas just passed and I got some speakers for the ole Jeep. Much needed since the others were blown and the front ones have a intermittent connection. 6.5" Pioneers all the way around. Although, I've only installed the front so far (been too cold to be outside) its made a huge difference. In my experience with installing these in the front I did have to drill new holes. That was pretty easy though. I'll let y'all know on the rear install when I get to it.:whistling2:

To update on rear speaker install:
They fit, but had to make new holes and the factory covers won't fit over them. Idk why, but I'll put the Pioneer covers on. I love them so far, they sound great.

In other news:
Pulled my Jeep into my boyfriend's work to inspect the brakes. Then i figured i have it here and on the lift, let's check some stuff underneath. Found this:

I seen this was a little leaky awhile back when i changed my oil. Now it's way worse. The pinion bearing is bad. It has a bit of play and the driveshaft is junk now too. So I've got 4.56 gears and rebuild kits on the way for the front and rear. :) as for the driveshaft I'll swing by the junkyard or steal the one out of the 2dr.
Oh and this happened today

Got some 35s! Cooper STTs.

Planning a wheeling trip to Drummond Island this summer for a few days. Gotta definitely get a bumper with better recovery points on before then.

Nice! Good to hear, asked some groups on Facebook and heard positive things about them. Gonna get some snow this weekend and I'll get to test how well they do ;)

Got some cool boxes today :icon_cheesygrin:
4.56s and low ratio Dana 30 carrier.

These should be going in within the next week. Unfortunately i don't feel confident doing this one myself, so she's going to the shop. :(

Since putting on the 35s occasionally when coming into my driveway (i don't have my sway bar connected) as i turn and the axle flexes up, my tire contacts the lower part of the fender. I'm not gonna chop more off the fenders though. I'm gonna stretch the front about an inch and that should clear it. :icon_cool:

Got the gears in the Jeep earlier this week. Definitely a noticeable difference and will be worth it. Right now I'm on the break in period so i can't try them out on the highway or beat on them off-road just yet.
My speedometer is now 5 off in the other direction lol. It was 55 on the speedo is 60 actual, now it's 55 on the speedo is 50 actual.

I can't wait until the break in period is done. It's been the longest 500 miles lol, 100 to go. Not supposed to stay at a constant road speed, so I'm stuck taking back roads everywhere. Almost there and i can wheel again!

chipmaker 03-05-2015 06:50 PM

Damn that thing is huge!

_Green98XJ_ 05-16-2015 10:19 AM

Well the break in period on my axles are over and the Jeep drives like a dream. Got the front axle pushed forward a little bit. I've got some tweaking to do, I think my track bar is off to the passenger side. So I gotta get that adjusted, get a front drive shaft, and start on getting a front stubby bumper made. We're wheeling at Drummond Island in 6 weeks and I need some reliable recovery points. Good news is I'm no longer DDing the Jeep so she finally gets to have some down time, 240xxx miles on her now.
Update on my headliner, I knew i should've used two cans of adhesive:brickwall:

So here's something in the works currently:icon_cheesygrin:
3 weeks away from a 3 day wheeling trip on Drummond Island. I'm stoked about it and making a little progess. About to order some coil spring spacers.
