BTW, did you do frame stiffeners? If so are you going to cut and reweld the sliders? Or cut out a section of the stiffener?

Stiffeners aren't on yet, but they will be in a week or 2. Jcr offers their sliders in 2 versions - stiffeners and without stiffeners. These are the stiffener version so they should fit no problem

Some IT issues at my day job prevented me from working this morning so I was able to get the 4.5" coils installed earlier. Tough to tell in photos, but it definitely dropped the front a decent amount which is exactly what I was hoping for. Still has the 5.5 leafs in the rear in these photos.

Old 5.5 vs new 4.5

IT? What do you do for IT? I work for a city doing Desktop support, trying to get into networking.

Definitely dropped it, and it looks great! I love how it being a little lower makes the tires look bigger.

The 4.5" Rubicon express springs have the softest spring rate out of all the xj coils. I think it's like 10lbs more than stock spring rate. Also they are the best priced out of most portions too. Amazon has then for $89 for pair.

You can get them from Cavfab (newer vendor here) for $100 a pair. Not sure why they are so expensive on Amazon.

Wow that's crazy they went up so much. I bought mine year and a half ago and my buddy just bought a set 1 week ago. Yeah CAV Fab or Serious Offroad on here are way better prices now. That sucks cause Amazon had me a pair in two days without using Amazon prime

Oh I don't work in IT myself. Just some IT issues were preventing me from doing my work.

Agreed, hoping it's just about perfect with the new flares. Spoke to Notch this morning and they said 100% shipping this week.

That's where I got mine. Good prices and shipping was super fast. They are my new go to.

Notch flares look sharp. I love the one on there website, paint matched chilli pepper red on what looks like 37" tires. Best flare options out there. I ended up going with flat flares because I wanted my jeep as narrow as possible but they look sharp with you wheel offset
