Well if you access to a cheap spraygun you can get some clearcoat and a flattener to it to give it a dull coat. The clear that comes in a can I wouldnt bother with it really since they tend to give it an orange peel look to it. The paint on my jeep has lasted over a year now even with me trail riding it and still no clear coat just the paint I put on it. I even pressure wash it and it doesnt flake off.

Looks good man, coming along nicely, and if your still planning on painting it OD Green I would say this is the paint your going to want to use. http://www.armyjeepparts.com/order_p...t_bottom_1.htm
Scroll to the bottom of the page and look at the sample strips, the "AJPWWII" and the "24087" are the best colors depending on how dark you want it to be, and you can order it in bulk rattle can form. good luck. Oh and I'm from SC to ha.

I actually found them cheaper on a site called "RapcoParts.com" seems good to me. Know anything about this site? And if by chance anyone knows, roughly how many gallons would it take to comer my Xj? No random guesses please, only if you know what your talking about!

I would assume you would just call them up at the number at the bottom of the site and place an order, but if the other site is cheaper and the same stuff (Gillepsie) then no reason not to take that route I guess.

Check the shipping cost on the paint. Some places seem cheaper but charge more for shipping. As far as coverage I used 13 cans of the krylon to cover the red my cherokee was originally.

Yeah shipping was accounted for. And I'm referring to gallons because I have a spray gun but I'm trying to figure out how much to buy...
