Project M.A.S.H
I Got this jeep as one of my first vehicles and have put my heart and soul into making it mine, although I am working on a very limited budget. Iv done some things to it such as painting it and redoing the head liner. I am trying to turns it into an old style army jeep kind of like on the tv show M.A.S.H... I'll post some pics

I got it home and looked up some pictures of some Cherokees. I already knew I wanted to change the color I just didn't know what I wanted to change it to... But when I saw this jeep I knew...
I found these pics on another guys profile on this forum. This jeep is my inspiration and goal. I'm going to paint it just like this but change it to be an army jeep

So, first thing I did to it was paint it! I Havnt finished yet, Iv only primed it.
It was kinda hard, I just took a whole day an removed the pin stripe and 4x4 signs then I got my sander and went crazy!! After sanding I washed the jeep about 4 times and the next day I spray painted it using sand-able primer. I don't recommend this because it pretty hard to get a even coat and the inside of the doors are a huge pain!

Priming was hard enough so I'm going to get a pro to paint the green. Here are some pics of the interior the day I got it...
You cant tell in this pic but the head liner was falling out and held up by taks. So the next addition I did was change it. I'm a red neck from South Carolina so naturally I love camo... So on e-bay I found a head liner I couldn't resist.... What do you think?

I'm also going to look in the local fabric shop. I've gotten stock type headliner material there before.

Not to turn this into a headliner thread you can do anymaterial as long as it says with in the thickness of a thick banddana....and it does not need to be foamed backed
