The older ones with the vacuum disconnect front axle also known as a CAD would rely on vacuum to engage and disconnect the front axle. These were found in renix models with the 231 tcase. The vacuum system is garbage and I just did away with it on mines and locked it in permanently.

Update. Took that plastic bumper stuff off the sides, so that's why there's white stripes. Also got some rims and tires off CL for $100! What do you think??

Did some off roading Friday in my back yard. We are building a sea wall so we had a temp mud pit before it had to be filled with dirt. My 2x4 Jeep did good, I was proud! Got good pics

Good update! FINALY getting my jeep painted!!!!! Already got a $260 paint kit and getting a professional to paint it tomorrow! Cant wait to see it all finished up after waiting almost a year! Will post tons of pics
