Default Breaks Suck

Pulled the drums and rotors. Lots of pitting on the surface. We decided to just do a complete brake overhaul. Getting the parts today.

I love interior work. I have done quite a bit of it. If you redo the interior I would grab the seats out of a Grand Cherokee and swap them in. I did it and have a writeup on it but its still in the submission point right now. You guys are really going at it so you could probably do better than me with the Grand seats. Also I used house carpet on the floor. Looks pretty good but the tan seems to be fading a bit already. Audio is also kind of fun. I am not one to go all out with subs and everything because I like a fairly stock look. However a new stereo head and speakers go a long way. Otherwise looking sweet.

Default Weekend is here. Time to get back on it!

Got the majority of the rot out today. A little more cleaning up around the edges, and we will be welding in the floor pans

Default Quick Disconnects

Here are the home depot 10 dollar quick disconnects. We are in the southeast, so no real rock crawling going on.

Default Electrical

A quick note that may save someone some time. If some of your signal lights are not blinking, or if lights that are NOT supposed to blink do, CHECK THE FRONT BLINKER HOUSINGS! Took us 2 days to figure that one out! Just cut them off and replace them! What a pain in the butt. Good as new now.

Default Paint is done

We got it back from paint. 500 dollar Maaco job. Made it all one color, and that is the highlight of the paint job! But, we knew that going in. I figure its a 16 year olds vehicle, so it will be scratched and dented within a month of him starting driving!
