Lol in the liberty??? I've got a feeling 8 or so geared transmissions are gonna get REALLL popular in the next few years.

It would let the engine stay in its power band much easier. If they can handle power, then the folks at Mopar might be on to something.

yeah ive been waiting on something like this.. More gears are more practical in about every circumstance.

Lol I think it is all gonna come down to how fast and smoothly that thing can actually shift, otherwise you'll be waiting for power.

They seem to think the shifts will be nearly instantaneous.
