Picked my Jeep up today. Runs stronger than it ever has!!! I'm guessing that alternator had been putting extra stress on the engine for a while...
So happy to have it back and in working order.

It came with the Jeep.. I have no clue who it's made by, but I have seen a couple other members on this forum with them... It has absolutely ZERO manufacturer markings on it whatsoever. So... Your guess is as good as mine. Lol.
*edit*
I just did a quick google search and this one looks to be the exact same brush guard. Looks like it's made by a company called N-Dure.

The weather is being annoying today, it keeps raining on and off... So no real progress on Jeep stuff..
I did manage to find a gap in the rain to take some pictures of a new project that CobraMarty and I are working on.
The plan is to lower it as much as possible. We're going to try a fiberglass monoleaf in the back and if that doesn't get it low enough, we're going to do a spring under conversion. And then just cut coils in the front.

rims 18x10 cobra replicas with 265 35 tires.

I remember someone posted on this thread about a top mounted supercharger... So... What's better than one top mounted M62? TWO TOP MOUNTED M62s!!!!!!!!!
Just gotta find time to start fabbing... Lol. Probably going to install these during the summer. Planning on mounting them here and cutting a whole in the hood so they stick through it.
They will probably be sitting about 3-4 inches higher than they are here.

Do you have a pointer on where this type of scoop can be purchased. I did a search on Mustang scoops and could not find it...
Also, does it clear everything below it easily? Where is rain dropping on?
Thanks.

Got my Prosport boost/vac gauge and intercooler temp gauge (using it to measure temp pre and post supercharger) wired in and working. Sorry, no pics yet.
I'm hoping to wire in the AEM tomorrow (probably just the harness and use the bypass that they supplied), put my brush guard back on, put the hellas back on, and... Idk what else. Either get some more work done on my hitch mounted snow plow or try and street tune the AEM (since my plan to take it to a tuner kinda fell through
).
All I know is that I WANT TO GO INTO BOOST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
On a side note, my Shelby Mustang GT500 hood scoop arrived today. Just gotta go to the junkyard and get a hood so I can practice on it. Lol. Doesn't look too shabby sitting there. Although, I think it will look much better painted satin black.

There is really only one spot the vent can be mounted where it will clear everything and IIRC it was about 3" back from the front of the hood. Or something like that.
The only thing that rain could barely hit would be the serpentine belt, but that's not really much of a problem. Other than that, rain just falls straight through the engine bay. I haven't had any problems with rain since adding the vent, and the Jeep has been through some beefy storms. Lol.

Ebay usually has these blowers for $100 or less. Try your local JY/pick and pull. There are 2 different ones- newer year with a longer nose snout extension and these ?pre'95 with the shorter nose.
