I used my angle grinder. Thanks for the idea. Any clue as to where I can get a new weld nut?Originally Posted by Silentj
I had the same thing happen to me on my last XJ. Saws All was the only way of getting it out.

That should be a flag nut. Try rockauto.comOriginally Posted by Lake00XJ

Fixed the flag but issue by welding a new nut to it. Next problem is this:
I cut the track bar out and this part is stuck in the bracket and won't come out. I've tried air hammer, bfh, heat, and nothing has worked
You may need to cut it down as low as you can and drill it out from the bottom. Did your new track bar come with a new bracket?Originally Posted by Lake00XJ

Nope. I need to reuse this bracket. I'm going to try a ball joint press on it and if that doesnt work then I'll cut and drill it. Really wish I had access to a plasma cutterOriginally Posted by Silentj

Ball joint press worked. Just gotta finish the rear shock and tighten everything up. Then I'll pull it out of the garage and take some pics

Your attachments don't work. Include them right in your post.Originally Posted by Lake00XJ

You'll have to trim to run 35's on 4.5".
