So I recently traded my 2000 2 door xj for this gem. I wanted a 4 door because I found it to be a pain to get my dogs in the back, and plan on having kids in the near future. I figured it would only be worse with kids.

I put my 2 door on craigslist and this was the first person to offer a trade.

Specs

2001 4 door Cherokee Sport
8 inch Rustys LA lift-bought aug 22 2011
Rustys steering conversion-bought aug 22 2011
Advanced Adapters SYE-new
Tom Woods D-shaft-new
17'' FUEL rims
37x12.50x17 Goodyear MTRs
Flowmaster 2.5'' exhaust
JKS quicker discos
Rustys CAI
89 xj d44 rear axle

It had no armor, or bumpers.....But looked brand new inside and out!!!
I couldnt pass up the trade, esp because it had 50k less miles than my 2 door!!

So first I built a front HUDFAB high clearance bumper. It will prob change a few times, but this is on it for now.

So it was on to trimming the front fenders.

Hammer time on the inner fender pinch seam

Then dressed it all up with some door trim.

So this is how the xj sits now.

Stay tuned....Much more HUDFAB to come!!

Got this jeep 7 days ago.

No front d-shaft at the moment due to the lp30. Will either be swapping in a hp d30 or a cut down Ford hp d44.

Also, here is a link to the build thread for my old 2 door xj if anyone wanted to see what I traded for this.

That new bumper is pretty much what I have in mind to build. Yours looks sick! Can you do the whole winch-behind-the-bumper thing with that one?

Interested to see where this build goes....and how long it sticks around
