The weld wouldn't be a bad idea....
But you must not go offroad often...
I live in miami and some trails I've ridden through are tight enough to fold those mirrors...
Couldn't imagine have those pods ripped off

Luckily for me, I don't trail too much. :P

Just like the gutter mounts for the 50-inch light bar, today I made some marine-grade vinyl gaskets for the new A-pillar mounts:

So I went ahead today and connected the LED pods to the same switch that controls the 12-inch LED light bar on the bumper:

All done:

Interesting mounting location... never seen them in front of the mirrors before. Kinda like it, but yeah I couldn't do it... trails around here are too narrow for that - especially in ONF

Yeah I know what you mean. Since this is my daily driver, I use them for additional road light on the open roads at night.

Following the recent issues with the supposed "low oil pressure" lately, I finally had this happen to me last night:

And since I've had about enough of that, I got a new oil pressure sender:

I'll let you guys know if this fixes it.

Okay it's in. So far so good. It hasn't dropped under 25 PSI now. But only time will tell.

Oil pressure is still great. So I think that sender was definitely the fix.

I've got this really loud tapping coming from the engine when it's cold. It goes away when it warms up. I've got no idea what it could be, so I've got to start looking into it one of these days. Keeping in mind I've got all new rod bearings, I'm going to start somewhere different.

I'm planning on a new valve cover gasket one of these days to stop a leak at the rear.

The manufacturer of the LED light bar on the roof shipped me a new one since the old one was getting condensation in it:

I also got some replacement retainer pins for my quick disconnects since they broke off:
