I liked my stubby bumper but I couldnt get it into free spool cause the lever was jammed against the steering box.
I got my new winch on. Wired it up the way the manual said, was working fine spooling in but spooled it out for 5 sec and the whole jeep shut off lights and all. Put the charger on it and the charger went ape **** not sure what happened. Wouldnt charge the batt so I swapped the batt out of my brothers jeep and it fired and ran just fine. I am gonna call the manufacturer monday and pick up a new batt tomorrow
Oh and I painted my headlight buckets black

Converting yours to 4x4 is not that hard. Suspension is the same front and rear. Swap the front axle, transmission, transfer case, and driveshafts - of course you'll need a couple odds n ends like linkages and the shift gate - but it really is an easy swap and it doesn't cost that much.

Got back sunday from the Crawl 4 the Cure, it was a blast, got some decent wheeling in. In all honesty, we wheeled alot less than we normally do. Mainly because we got the most bad *** camp site in the park that backed up to the lake so we relaxed alot all weekend. My buddy blew his radiator the first day we got there too in his zj. My gf drove the jeep more than I did. I picked up an ATV last month so I took that out and bombed around while my gf drove the jeep. It worked out great because she loves wheeling it, she wants her own soon too

picked up a straggler in our convoy too haha

girlfriend wheeling, she did really good, on one of the trails called high voltage, there is a log climb at the end some buggys dont make it up. She ambled on up then the last log is an undercut and she bumped it, launched the front off the ground and bumper the back and right on up! Really wish I got it on video

this was the only pic I got right before she bumped it. You can see the bumper slide over while the tires dropped and hooked

this is a trail called shoot for the moon which is usually pretty easy with 36s and locked but it was washed out and I slid off my line and landed on this rock while backing up and my rear bumper got wedged.
Effin rock smashed my exhaust between my tranny pan and "frame".

dub did the same thing except the rock actually took out his tranny pan. It smashed it and was pissing fluid everywhere

The trip was awesome, my parents came up again and they had alot of fun. It was more relaxing than anything which is what I really wanted. A month from now is IRO's customer appreciation so now its time to get ready for that!
