Painted the grille inserts!! Really diggin the look. Too bad I gotta cut off the stinger to swap the motor, but that just means I can weld it back on at a steeper angle. So win win right??

Sweet. Measure once cut twice I always say. But seriously. Measure and measure again. Measure like 4 times before you cut and start mounting

Ain't that the truth! I've measure the heep 3 times and I'm gonna remeasure the piping tomorrow to make absolutely sure I have more than enough to get em done! Planning on bracing it to the frame and then plating that whole section between the rockers and the frame, then adding rock rails

Post pics, I like your jeep. Its better to cut too long than cut too short. IMHO

You bet I will!! And thanks I got tons left to do yet.. Pops comes back tomorrow so maybe I can pull the motor outta his truck and dig into that real soon. And this is very very true, steel can be taken off, but never added back

Well it can be added back but the more places you cut and weld back are more places for breakage

This is true as well, but if you are even half way decent at welding the steel should break before the welds do... Now in a perfect world with the training I have, I know I'm not that good lol. But I do get what you're saying and it is very true
