After finding the leaky injector, went ahead an ordered some 4 port injectors. All the symptoms I've found while driving it are very notorious for bad injectors. While it's in the garage, figured since the fuel sending unit is bad/ won't read correctly to replace the whole assembly since it was cheaper to do the assembly than just the sending unit. So it'll have an all new fuel pump as well.
Well despite what was supposed to be a "blizzard" which just turned into basically rain all day, managed to grab the matching rear end. Needs a lil more work than the front, but it'll do nicely.
Slowly but surely coming together. Old perches coming off completely along with the shock tabs and then welding in some factory perches and throwing in the new 8.25. Might take a lil longer than expected since half of a perch took 2 cutoff wheels to get it lol
Got the new 4 ports put in and it made a world of difference! Let it warm up and unlike before, idles great and runs smooth. Still needs the fuel pump done, but it's running a lot better now
Well haven't really done much with the heep other than pick up a clean 95 to daily.... Just waiting on my tax return so I can go back to working on the heep.
Haven't really had much to update on other than finding out the loss of power and hard starting issue. Head gasket didn't seal properly, so was getting coolant in in the oil and all 6 cylinders. Been stocking up on new gaskets and a few other goodies, should hopefully be able to get it back together after I get back from vacation
Had a few less hours at work this week, meaning I got some time to finish buttoning up the heep. Just need to run some oil through it to flush the system, get a few gaskets, coolant flush, and finish bolting up the intake/exhaust and she'll be ready for round 2

Had a few hours today to get everything all put back together. Got a new bumper and welded on the stinger, finished up the leaf perches on the 8.25, and did the first flush to get out the gunky oil. Replaced the battery terminals and it got it cranking within a few seconds. Have the to-do list narrowed down to about 5 things most of which is flushing coolant system and oil system and plumbing the stock temp gauge.
