Project Hand-me-down XJ
This jeep was originally Tssguy123's, It was given to me after his purchase of an MX-5. Previous work can be found at http://https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f46/unnecessary-96-build-thread-178678/
Current state: Jeep is in a running but unreliable condition due to a failing cps. Part on order.
Future plans: Picking up a CB tomorrow, Bedlining the cargo space in the near future, Mild lift (2 to 3 Inch), 31's, front and rear bumpers (thinking bend and weld kits), some form of lighting, and a winch in the far future.

No, I don't lick fish.
Welcome to the forums!!!
Nice radio and a very good choice. Was the lower dash panel already cracked or was that a mishap from install?

Gotcha.... check the autoparts store for a fiberglass patch kit.... put it on the back side of the panel for a really good reinforcement and then get vinyl patch for the front part and you'll never know it was there.
LOL.... of course, if it doesn't bother you, then you're already good to go!

Tried to replace the crank senor today and ended up with the wrong part. In hindsight it my own damn fault. The best new of today is that the jeep isn't overheating, it just has the wrong temperature sender. All things can be fixed in time.

Got her running today! Honestly a CPS change isn't as bad as people make it out to be. Bad news always follows good news though and today I learned the battery isn't able to hold charge anymore. Easy fix so all in all today was a good day for ol hand me down

Another good day for the jeep! Battery replaced so she starts with no hesitation. Now for the fun part of the build! Lift purchased today (zone 3 inch lift with AAL) tires are being looked at and are going to be ordered (30's with soft 8 wheels). Next few weeks the bank account is tapped but the build is moving!
