Default Project Hack 'n Weld

Just picked up another XJ for free. It's a 96 with no motor and the previous owner drilled out the bell housing bolts to pull the engine after they cut holes into the tunnel to acces them. The interior is fairly decent behind the front seats. Planning on this build being a "budget" build but also a do anything to to it build. Not sure if I want to put another 4.0 in it or swap in something fun like a Diesel engine from an older ford I have laying around. Obviously going to lift it but as cheap as possible. Thinking about stripping the interior and bed lining it. Possibly chopping the top? Sun roof? Roll bars? Going to be a slow build but if anyone has ideas or quick tips they are always appreciated.

Jeep trailer not a bad idea but was thinking more of a wheeler eventually. And yeah there is only a little bit of rust on the underside. It was kept in a garage until it was t boned.
