I'm gonna throw a sprinkler under both of ours Sunday for a while, then spray away everything with a hose once it's all loosened up. Got the idea from a guy who rolls with the hardcore mud hole crowd.
I know I know. I need to figure out if I'm going to build the jk or not.. If not I need to let go and wheel the xj...ugh!

Hope you all had fun down there today.. I def missed it

The only deep water was a big mud hole at the "playground" area by this little rock course. I went through voluntarily. It wasn't too bad. The mud was kinda bad in the beginning, but the rest of the trails were nice. There was definitely some technical stuff that people banged their rigs up on, but no serious part failures or broken parts, just a few body dings here and there. If you have a JK now, you totally need to start wheeling the XJ!

There's a MWJT trail ride on April 11th at moonlight, you should try to go.

Dang did you have to bounce up like that or were you able to walk up? How'd your lockers treat you?

I had to bump it, but I didn't bounce it as crazy as that guy. The lockers made it way easier. The guy in the video didn't have lockers. There was one part that I crawled up real easily, but others had to bump and bounce up it, it's all in the line that you take. Luckily most of the people know how to spot well, so that helped out a lot.

Well, I got mud and rocks in my drums, and they kind of destroyed my brakes, so tomorrow I'm getting new drums, shoes, and hardware! I've also decided the next thing I'm saving up for is new tires. I'll be getting a set of 5 33x12.5r15 Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ's on 15x8 Quadratec Baja Xtreme wheels in black with 3.5 inches of backspacing. I've decided to go with aluminum for weight reasons, and I'm not going to do any insane rock crawling with them, so I think it'll be good. Also the Baja MTZ's seem to be a nice tire, I've read some good reviews. The best part is the package deal with mounting and balancing included. So that will be the next thing I order once I have the money for it. I do have a Rusty's front skid and a Skid Row TC skid that I'll be installing this week, and I'll post pics of those for you guys.

Good call on the aluminum wheels. MT Baja MTZ's are a nice tire for sure. I hear 4WD has some great deals on wheel/tire packages as well. Are you ready to trim those fenders yet? You might once you get those 33's on..

Cool Vid too

Thank you. I'll definitely be trimming the fenders to fit the 33's. Might be a few months before I can afford them, but I'm looking forward to it!
