Excellent, I'll need this walk through later for when I decide to cut my roof off.
You going to keep this one tagged? Plans for a Lexan Windshield?

It hasn't been tagged for a while. Also, I'm running stickie tires so I can't really run it down the road anyway.

I do plan to make it so I can run an optional lexan windshield if I do end up with DOT tires.

The D300's that I bought included a clocking ring but it wouldn't work with adapter plate so Stump drilled it to work.

Will made more progress on tube. The rear is welded out. Working on the front tube. Not much else to be said... just look at pictures.

Not much of a progress update but I'll post some pictures for people to look at. Don't laugh. It looks retarded on tiny wheels.

I drove down to Will's house and brought home all the stuff.

I get there and Will is laying out by the pool in his Speedo with his Jeep.

Will had the rear axle bolted under it well enough to roll it...

It's definitely easier to load a D60 when you have a Bobcat.

Rolled some tires beside it so it didn't look quite as retarded sitting in the yard.

I've sold my 3-link and spare Dana 300 t-case. Now it's time to order a few more parts.

The list is still very long. I need to get it all written down.

The next step is to get some paint on the bare steel and put it under some cover. I'm about to dedicate a good bit of time to building a shop. I'm tired of working in the dirt. Then once I have a roof on the shop I'll get to work on the Jeep. I need to gather a good many more parts for it anyway.

With the money from the 3 link and D300, you should order the stuff needed for the 4 link. My recommendation is a kit from Barnes. I currently run their Enduro joints and they are awesome. Very quiet, tons of thread engagement, and grease-able.

Using the money from my 3-link to build a new 3-link.

Using the money from the spare D300 to order the 32 spline upgraded output for the D300 I'm building.

Rear suspension isn't a high priority right now. I'll get to it eventually. Links for the rear isn't the issue. I don't want to run coils in the rear and I can't afford coil-overs right now.

I don't like prefab 4-link kits. They're so generic that by the time I modify them to work how I want them to work I could have just made my own.

I gotcha. I saw the links on the front and thought it was already done. Carry on

Edit: Of course...if I had actually paid attention I would have seen its still the old axle up front.

It's currently my old RK 3-link (That I sold) and a 2wd axle beam just to get it to roll up on the trailer. lol

It's going back on jack stands real soon.

Nothing but time and money are holding me back.

Hit a slow spot in the Jeep parts business.

It's going on the back burner for a bit while I start building my shop.

I like the cage work, as Adam stated go ahead and do the rear 4-link.
