Well, i'm naming this project ghost because i'm starting it without actually possessing the cherokee that is going to be built. This is going to be my first STEP by STEP, DETAILED, FAB build, I'm in the process of selling off a f-150 i bought a couple months back and the proceeds from that will go towards this build. but here goes.....

For this project, i plan on starting with a 97-01 4x4 XJ, Mileage is no issue, Something fairly clean. As for suspension, Radius Arms up front for some super flecks and just because there ain't many xj's with radius arms, and full leafs in the back. maybe around 6 inches of lift above factory. the 44 has 410s, so i might put 410s in the 8.8 and go with 35's (boggers ftw) a bit under-geared. Obviously, lockers, some clean bumpers. No engine mods on this one, or crazy cuts or hacking on this xj, no cage, or crazy stinger, or very much armor, i like clean builds, no offense to everyone rocking roof racks and mad lights everywhere, just preference. pretty much a sleeper wheeler..... except on full widths and boggers.

 

so, just to give an idea of what this build is gonna be similar too



this build is on a diesel forum actually. but its on full widths with radius arms and its kinda ironic that this xj is the same color, running the same tires, and has an almost identical dent to my mildly built 99.

but in other news, i hope i have found the base for this build,



99, 4.0, auto, clean as hell.... haven't contacted the owner yet, but hopefully when i do tommorow, all goes well and i can get this build a-rolling.
