so the goal for monday is going to be clocking my tcase, building a new front driveshaft, and finishing my UHMV skid.

The tcase mounting holes are different from an xj's compared to a tj/yj so this clocks the tcase up.

Oh ok. I'll prolly use a clocking ring.

I was saying you used the E14 socket for the top two bolts

cool! i've read of guys who have done this and say the case hits the tunnel. did it work for you? if it did, i'm gonna find one.

it does, you have to massage the the trans tunnel with a hammer. not a big deal though.


but honestly some companies sell a clocking jig for redrilling the transmission. which will work just as well. and i probably would have gone that route if i didnt have a blown up YJ ax15 in the shop.

yeah, i've seen the one on bsfab too. did you have to fool with the linkage much?

i gotta say, i really enjoy this build. it's been an inspiration for me since well before i signed up on here. keep up the good work man!

well, the stock linkage wont work on this setup. but ive already got a solid linkage setup inplace that i have to modify slightly with the new tcase position.
