Since then I've built a front and rear bumper, got the frame stiffeners on, built a t case skid, and I think that's about it for major projects. Next up is sliders. Here's a quick run down on the bumpers and skid.

Frame stiffeners finally on:

The skid plate has those triangle gussets that are in contact with the frame rail, so there is hardly any pressure on the bolts themselves. I didn't really plan that, it just happened

The rear bumper was pretty simple as well. I used the 4 stock bumper bolt holes on each side as well as JCR nutstrip, and then also tied the quarter panel protection pieces in with 2 bolts on each side.

So here's a quick run down of pictures for that.

Although in hind sight I wouldn't have put those weld on d rings on, they are crazy noisy when bouncing around on a trail. So I'm cutting them off soon.

Here's my front winch bumper build. It's not as good as I'd like, and there's definitely more things I'm going to do the next time I build a bumper, but for now it works.

It was really easy, I just bent some flat stock and drilled a hole to weld a bolt in there. Then I used the bushing out of an old shock, and that's that. I still need to make a locking mechanism for it, but
Ill get there eventually

Put a spartan locker in my front d30. It was super easy, I have never done anything with gears before and it was super easy. Had .008 backlash before I took the carrier out, and had the same when it went back in!
