I couldn't get my upper shock studs off, I thought they were welded on, but were spinning, so I have to dremel them off

I punched a hole through my driver side floor last year while wheeling, so I'm cutting a rectangular hole in my floor and welding and siliconing a piece of steel back in.

My front diff breather rube somehow got sheared, I'm not going to replace the tube, just repair it and wrap with again with heat wrap, and drain and clean the front differential, I'm sure some dirt got in there

I was driving home and saw this cargo carrier for FREE on the side of the road, why was it free? Because ONE bolt was seized on the side and wouldn't close....I still want to build or buy a steel rack, but this will be awesome for longer trips to the mountains.

I have a laundry list of things to do:
rear shocks install
alignment
drain diff
weld(or rivot) driver floor in
I want to rubberize the floor, I read that it cuts down on a bit of road noise
I have a bug deflector that cracked and needs to be glued back together
finish up some small rust spots on the front and rear window gaskets
install fog lights (I accidentally ordered amber lights, but 4wd.com had the clear lenses-should be in in the next couple days)
reinstall front skid plate
order boots for shocks
paint front diff cover
headliner paint for door bottoms, maybe the fenders as well
get the A/C checked out
man, that list is a lot longer than I thought...I have another list of things I want to do to it in the future...

Was away all weekend, still waiting on the rear lower shock stud to install the last shock, but this is how she looks as is. (Pics don't have very good light, but I'll get some more this upcoming week)

Jeeps a little dirty, but thought the wheels came out really good, just need some new lug nuts, they're a little rusty.

Here are some pics of the finished product. I am extremely happy with the ride, it still needs an alignment, but the ride is actually smoother than before. (although before I did need new axle u joints and ball joints) oh and i washed the thing inside and out on saturday, about 4 secs later I had mud on it from going on some trails near my house. I def need a brush guard.

That's my other vehicle in the background....a '81 ariens backhoe...

I need to find a bigger rock....
oh, and here is a one off photo ...safety first!

Question, my coworker, who has an older CJ, told me that my original center caps look stupid on the black rims. I really don't give a flying f*** what he says cause he's a flaming tool, but I like em againt the silver paint, but at the same time I wanted to see what you XJ owners think.

Keep in mind my plan is to eventually get some soft 8's and 32s down the road, and most likely keep these as my DD wheels/ tires
