scored a class 3 trailer hitch in great shape today for $40 from xjwheeler10 who wasn't gonna use it just needs a bit of paint...now just to get a knuckle bone tire carrier (used from Clayton3854 or new from Detour)

 

if i can find a swing out tire carrier that can hold my 35 im down.

 

one step forward two steps back fml the trailer hitch i bought isn't an xj one yay so now to locate one hopefully upcoming swap meet will net some good results...

 

for real? whats it for? i got it in a trade for a spare driveshaft was told it was an xj one n i gave it to dj bc i didnt need it. thats ****in BS this turns out to be third time this kid screwed me n dj.

 

its similar to an xj one rob thinks its an mj one but hey i still want your tire carrier ill buy a new hitch if i got to...

 

werd. the 2 swings out i was looking at the kid ended up trading em both for a long arm kit. which i cant blame him but sucks for me. let me get these 35s balanced before we talk about the carrier. me n rob r switching tires for the day so hes gonna drive em round n try to break the equal in if its not balanced by end of today im just going back to wheel weights.

 

yeah their all better and bring money to the swap meet theres gonna be a guy there with a swing out tire carrier hes on facebook on the offroad trading post he is buying a 231 off me

Well went to stealthcherokee's work today to buy my new headlights...IPF H4 housings with Hella 55/60W H4 bulbs and did a little flexin' on the RTI ramp first time ever...




i reach the same as stealthcherokee who is same height with 33's and trimmed...

 

Well got some updates last week went to Endangered Species again and on my way there was glancing at my phone looked up to see yellow lights and i technically beat the lights but the jerk cop didn't think so so my first ever moving violation was running a "red light" for $150...then got to Endangered to find out they wanted way to much for a hitch which i wanted to buy...at work the next day it was dead so I was hanging in the parts room and for haha's asked if we could get hitches and was told we could and was quoted a very reasonable $106 my cost for a Curt hitch so I ordered it...On Monday I bought clayton3854's old Detour'snucklebone off him cause it don't fit 35's:


then my trailer hitch came in on the truck today:


so i installed it tonight cause there was a break in the rain we've been having and mocked up the tire carrier which i can't use right now cause i got to modify it:



if you notice theres no hitch pins but i got that problem figured out cause the holes dont line up...and these came in the mail:



6-1/2" Kicker DS60's for the front doors and 6x9" Kicker DS693's for the rear soundbar just cause i want some better sound

 

How u mounting those 6x9s I always wanted to do that.....haha
