Default Project Ep

Figured I would start my build thread now since I have done a few things to the jeep, this build will take a long while to make good progress
Eventual plans are
-5.5" Long Arm lift from IRO
-32" tires (think they will look small with the lift? opinions on this please)
-Exhaust (What would give the most power? I can care less for sound)
-Snorkel
-Bumpers with winch
-6 Hellas on top with 2 baja lights on the bumper
-Roof Rack
-Ford 8.8 or better
-D30 axle strengthening kit from IRO
-Armor
-Re-geared
-Stroke 4.0 likely to a 4.7 or v8 swap
-Many other things that I'm forgetting

Added some baja lights to the top, these will eventually migrate down to the bumper cost about 22 from walmart great upgrade highly recommend this for those just starting out. The wires are taped down to the roof bars if anybody is wondering the reason for all the electrical tape

Now testing the lights at night

Nice looking Grand!! I would say if you are going to run a LA kit I would go with 33's... but that is just me.. You can purchase an exhaust setup through IRO as well.. from what I hear they have a great setup for the pricing...

I completely forgot about the exhaust IRO has thanks for mentioning that
I think I would eventually go with 33s when I get the chance to get it regeared
You should have seen the deal I got it for, dealer wanted 4000, got it for 2585 with only 110k

Ok so I have some things to add finally, kinda gotten away from building due to money issues but have been spending lately, don't have any pics she hasn't changed much in looks anyways for the time being
Recently got a brand new radiator after blowing the old one due to a lot of mud stays really cool now.
Got an alternator off a V8 ZJ was a slight pain to get in there but its in there an working great
Now for the real scores... Picked up a full set of near brand new tires they work out to be around 29" tires they are wildcat radial LTRs on stock 16s, gonna swap them over to my snowflake 16s because i sold the ones they are mounted on to a friend
Also picked up a pull a part score its a np231HD got it for a little over a hundred never knew it was a big score at the time until i looked it up on the internet now have to head out to pull a part to get a driveshaft or yoke to match the 32 spline output shaft my current is to small
So i think i'm doing good so far?

To be totally honest with you they pretty much suck terribly bad, I guess they would be worth the money for just a small set of fogs on your bumper, but if your looking for real off road lighting then I would go with different stuff.
I recently been up to summit racing and they have their own brand of lights they are basically KC lights except for tons cheaper about $27 for one light I plan on going with these eventually
