Went wheeling this past weekend at Bundy Hill Offroad Park. This was basically my first time wheeling at a dedicated off road park. We had a blast!
Me and my buddy with his YJ before headin out to the trail. He's got about 4 inches of suspension lift and 2 inches of body lift sittin on 33'' Dick Cepek's I believe.

First things, first... disconnect the antisway bar!

Since it was my first time, we didn't want to start with anything too aggressive:

Let's just say, I QUICKLY realized the limitations of my rig and that would be THE FENDERS! I need to do some trimming ASAP.

I started the day with all my fender flares in place, by the end of the day I had none. This particular picture shows how the fender itself is actually buckling in, it popped right back out though.

Here's my attempt at demonstrating a little suspension flex/articulation. Honestly, I'm not that good at recognizing flex from inside the vehicle
so I probably could've done a better job at capturing it on camera but it's tough to get out and stop in the middle of an obstacle. The only reason I got out on these pics is because of the awful sound of crunching/bending sheetmetal from the fender, lol!

I can definitely see how the LCA drop brackets are allowing more flex here. Seems like the stock arms would be binding...

By the way... all images are phone pics. Sorry about the quality. We actually took some video though, so hopefully after a bit of editing I'll be able to post a few live shots.

Few more shots...

Stupid rock picture:

Somehow, throughout the whole day we weren't able to find the rock pit. I'm going to try to get back there one more time before it gets too cold though and hopefully get into some more difficult terrain. Also, I was really impressed with the increased traction from the Aussie Locker. Worth it's weight in gold! My buddy's YJ was having some locker issues, it didn't seem to be locking all the time and it was definitely evident when he was getting stuck while I was passing through easily.

your running a 4.5" lift and 32x11.50's and still ended up stuffing your tires into your fenders?! this makes me seriously consider the 32x11.5's damn it

Wow, I just went through your whole build thread, amazing work. I can only hope to do half as much to my XJ as you have done to yours. Thanks for the motivation! Lookin' great man. Mad Props...
Ended up as a fenderless day...!!!!
good pics though, Jeep shows some nice front end flex. How are you finding the ride off road ?? So whats the plan with the trimming, how are you gonna tackle it ?? Looking at the pics the XJ has got extended bump stops ?? a few ppl install/glue in some hockey pucks on the lower spring base to help compensate this issue....Love the XJ man....Awesome build as mentioned before.
cheers
