lol... you didn't get good traction from the KM1s? They did GREAT around here. Sand, mud, maybe not so much wet traction, but hey - for an oldschool mud tire, I thought they were great.

I was being sarcastic cause my MTR's sidewall gave out in the Advance Auto parking lot on my way home from a successful weekend at Rausch Creek. Dry rot sucks. But I'm clearly too tired for conversations in peoples' build threads lol

Moar bumper work. Got it fitted to the jeep last night, and the D-Ring tabs burned in.
Left to do:
- Weld on lower quarter panel protection extensions
- Weld together tire carrier mount plate assembly
- weld on tabs for T-handle pin, and drill hole for catch
- weld on hi-lift mount tabs and rubber bumper mount
- grind, primer, powdercoat, install
GETTING CLOSE!

Yup, and it is tiiiiiight to the bottom. I actually had to shave one of the brackets a bit to allow it to sit lower so I could fit the bumper under the housings. There's about 1/8" gap between the top of the extensions and the bottom of the taillight.
