Well little update, something in my front end is ****ing up so bad I can't even drive it right now. Someone from my jeep club is coming to help me diagnose it soon.
On the positive side of things, i sold my dads old rims today, put a new sticker on and a picture of my friends jacking around at a trail on my jeep. Always good times.

Don't drive it.
Someone needs to look at that before you drive it. The video quality is bad but if that control arm is moving like that then total failure is probably very near, and that means loss of control- even at low speed you're risking totaling the XJ and getting hurt.
A few of us are going to pull a part after the meeting, maybe we could come up and check it out.
Sound good? If so, let me know and I'll try to wrangle up a few folks like musclehead.

alright time for an update. The other day i took my jeep over to my uncles house and he let me use his floor lift to get to the bottom off my front end problems. as i suspected my front control arms are completelyyyy shot, they were bone dry and when i greased them the grease just started pouring out with water and mud... and since rubicon express went under after these were purchased, theres no replacement parts for them... Soooo as an early bday present from my parents they are ordering me rustys adj upper & lower control arms.
We were debating on going to long arms... but thats 800$ i dont have right now so that will be put on hold for a few years. but i cant wait to get the short arms in! my tie rod, and front end will finally be dialed in and ill finally be able go get an allignment and will hopefully have no more problems.
also bought a new pioneer sub in a ported bandpass box from a fellow xjer in my club for 50$. man this thing hits! so happy that ill be able to take my sub in and out now. i took my old one out, and re mounted my fire extunguisher also.
anddddd i got around 180 miles on my last fill up.... so a tune up is in the near future, which is gonna cost me 500$..... not looking forward to that.
on to the pictures..... my jeep looks like such a P.O.S. next to his rides haha

yeah man me to. and nah, for the price of control arms and drop brackets i could just go to longarms. And drop brackets are known for damaging the unibody.... so im just gonna deal with the rough ride for now.
