Make sure you attach thw ground wire on that harness to bare metal. I haven't had a problem with my harness at all, but there have been guys who blow relays because they aren't getting a good ground.
As for bulbs I just went with hella 55w/100 and so far I've loved them.

Well, the lens on one housing is cracked. And the reflectors are... Crap? I'll run them for the weekend. Then they're going back if my 130/90w bulbs don't melt them...

So far my lights definitely seem brighter and whiter. For those who aren't familiar with the putco harness, it connects directly to the battery and a male plug plugs into one headlight socket and trips a relay for each beam. The circuit grounds after each headlight. I scraped and sanded paint from some spots to ground them so the relays don't blow on me. Can't wait for those 130s...

25 below is regular here lol. And I'm thinking it's gonna be a cold winter this year. For about three weeks now the highs have been high 60s and low 70s with lows of high 40s and low 50s. I don't think 40 below will be irregular this year. There's no fog at those temperatures LOL

I've put a few tanks of gas through the jeep now. It's averaging about 19.5mpg which is a HUGE jump from the caddy's 14-15 towards the end. That thing really surprised me a few times though, 25mpg on long highway trips wasn't unheard of.
