Default Project Cleanix

Hey guys, I just picked up this little gem from 1990 this morning. I'm calling it the 'Cleanix' because it's such a clean renix, especially for MN. I'm on my iPhone right now, so I will get on my puter later and caption these photos.

The interior is exactly like my 89's except for the headrests

I don't think there's ever been a dog back here

Project Cleanix-image-2634682559.jpg

These seats are so damn comfy!

Project Cleanix-image-2437636977.jpg

It's really clean back here too. And notice the gear shade that will be covering my sub

Project Cleanix-image-1908916100.jpg

This is the most rust I've found

Project Cleanix-image-2189490713.jpg

The clearcoat's even intact

I love the white and blue pinstripes. Merica!

The PO installed this plug under the seat. It might see some use

I like this radio so far

Nice and clean under here

I guess you could call this upgraded

Yes it is! I found some rust above the exhaust tip that is close to going through, then both rear quarters have a little poking through.

Ok, so I pulled the cluster expecting to find melted wires. There was no such thing thank God! Turns out the reason my gauge lights were out was because the PO wired the HU with the dimmer wired up to the radio's ground. Idk about people these days

Project Cleanix-image-1868150864.jpg

Perfect!!

Project Cleanix-image-115930568.jpg

OH! And my jeep sounds turbo'd. Kinda cool

I haven't really outlined any goals for this build yet. It has brand new 225/70r15 Cooper AT3s so for now it's staying stock as far as suspension goes. After those wear out we'll see!

I have a 10" Kicker CVR sitting in my living room right now. I wired up the RCA and remote wires to the HU last night and hopefully my buddy will be bringing his 1200w amp in for me today It'll be tuned way down though...

I hear that the OEM cargo covers are hard to find. I also have a matching one for my interior.

Yeah, it's the first one I've ever seen. I hope it hides my sub well enough.

I posted the wrong wiring picture. I ran the power on the driver's side under the floor trim and the RCAs on the other side in the same fashion. Very clean
