My wife and I are teachers. She had a job near Houston and i had a job in Dallas however when we got married it was impossible to get good jobs in the same town (yay economy!) and there are a ton of jobs over here with good pay and incredibly cheap living expenses so we went ahead and moved over.

lucky to have all kinds of equipment and tools at my fingertips yes. but not lucky to be working with family. i actually quit and had to come back because i couldnt find a job anywhere else. but i have access to any welder i need. i can mig and tig but i cant stick to save my life my favorite mig we have can weld holes through frames lol its an old snap-on unit . torches milling machines and a lathe along with cold cut chopsaw. and an unlimited supply of handtools and speacialty tools. its great but sometimes it can be a pia
my family has a auto garage and we build racing go karts. also on the other side of the family ther is a forklift i can use if need be lol granted fixing the forklift is not fun i had to do the brakes and an oil change recently not easy
