It's been a while since I have posted. I've been off roading three places in this jeep and love it. Here are some pics from the latest trip.

Here is a quick update. I haven't gotten anything on the to do list done but that's for good reason. The jeeps now have a new home!

Well apparently hitting the skinny pedal as your hood goes full force unto water is a bad idea. I got the jeep running after being dragged back to base by a rescue xj. It took more than a few very talented folks to get the water out of my motor. Then on the way home 40 miles from the trail I think the transmission over heated started spraying fluid and shifting in and out of over drive. Its now sitting in the back yard and I have a lot of work ahead of me. On having my mechanic change every fluid and then bring it back so I can fox whatever is broken. Fun times ahead.

Default A big update

So long story short the Jeep is back running. The transmission just overheated due to a bad TPS which I changed myself. I also had a tune up done, and had all the fluids changed out. That got the Jeep running good again.

I just got back from an off road weekend at Land Between the Lakes! It was a blast, and the only issue I got from that trip was my steering wheel turned 30 degrees. Whats off is the jeep still drives straight, but the wheel is now crooked.

Today I was able to get two off road lights on although not wired yet, and finally trimmed the fenders to where the bumper is. It was my first time using a cutting wheel, and wow do they put off a lot of sparks!

2207.2 was my rti ramp score. Is that good or bad?

Here is a shot from today's trip to mud madness in Lockport ky. One really clean door looks funny.

I also got two off road lights wired up. The jeep is cleaned up and put away. Until next time.

Well if the government is able to open in the next 2 weeks I will be able to take my Jeep back to Turkey Bay for the third time. Also another quick update I was able to find where my loss of power was from. It turns out my exhaust was pinched shut. The old exhaust has now been replaced with a glass pack, and new muffler. Power! Oh and if I forgot to mention it the Jeep now has a doorless mod on the drivers door, and the switch panel installed in the console. Now to clean the mud off the ceiling. Here is an updated picture.
