Project Black Widow
I got my first xj in febuary. its a 1998 sport 4 door 5-sp with a NP231 dana 30 front and 8.25 rear. This was taken the day got it.
Theres only a few spots that have runst on it. The pass front pannel has a little on it the rear hatch and a bit on the roof by the drivers side pillar. Other than that its rust free for being on the rust belt. I had it check out at my dealership and I got a print out ofd the vin. I was glad to see that this XJ was build for Wisconsin so its all under coated and will last for years to come. The first thing I took care of was a leak that was in the radiator. I replaced the radiator,Water pump, thermostat with a 195 deg, and the thermo housing. That was a funny day First I broke off the upper houing bolt but I got luck, The bolt came out after I broke the housing off. I had a buddy over helping me well he didnt help at all, while we were talking I was installing the new thermo housing and when I was done I was standing there and picked up a small box and asked him " do you know what this is" he said no and I said its the flippin thermostat. I cant beleive that I forgot to insatall it.
The next weekend I had off that was nice I decided to take off all the body molding I think its so ugly.
I also installed the CB
Got my Fire extinguisher in also
And my zombie cage protection along with the mag lite mount
Then in the mail came my zombie hunting permit
So the PO had this stupid chrome shifter **** in it and it was horible so I bought a orig ****
WOW SORRY FOR THE CRAZY PICTURE SIZE PHONE AND PHOTOBUCKET AREN'T WORKING TOGETHER TODAY.
Seen this great storage idea in the Jeep Forum so I decided to start on it
Made the first Aid kit
So this is whats to come.
3" Rough county lift
Pro Comp rick crawler rims Black
Jcr Front DIY bumper with hitch mount
I also picked up a set of 32x11.5x15 BFG's for 200 with alittle over 60% tread left on them.
My next project is to Change diff fluid and front brakes. stay tooned

Well since I last posted I have purchased the lift which is a 3" Rough Country series II AAl yeah I know I should go with the full leaf pack. But I ran a bit short for the leaf pack so Instead I got the AAL and a 2" lift block from Zone.
Also ordered my Pro Comp series 52 Rock Crawler Rims and new lugs. Its going to be a very long day today since I'm putting the lift in tomorrow morning. Will also be trimming the wells. Which its great timing for the lift and tires cause the ZJ needs new treads and the XJ has great tread left on the tires so they will just get swapped. Now Im going to have 5 stock rims left to do something will will probably just see what I an get for them. Will be posting pictures during and when were done stay tuned.

I think the next thing will be the Jcr bumpers. Haven't really decided if I wanna go with the winch front or the receiver front and have a removable winch. But either way they will be the DIY kits.
