EDIT-
Sorry to hear about this. I did not know him, but I really enjoyed the build from the little bit that I had read.
Rest in peace.

Wow, I just spent the last few nights going through this thread loving this jeep and writing a bunch of stuff down on paper so that I may do some of the same things to my XJ only to find out that Brian had passed away last year. For all those that knew him I'm sorry for your loss and from what I have read he was a great guy. Rest in peace.

Can't believe it has already been a year. Miss the great tech and adventure Brian always had to offer. Wishing his family the best during this tough time. Brian will never be forgotten.

I have a black 96 4 door. Wish mine looked as good as yours I need paint, so ugly. Lol I was actually thinking of a black build with hints of light green, like shock boots and my cheap o steel wheels powder coated.

I just spent 3 hrs reading the whole thread and i'm glad that I did. This is an awesome rig and some great tips for everyone who is wanting to working on or just dreaming about having a sweet XJ. Even I who never even had a chance to read this while he was putting together his jeep felt sad. I wish I had the chance to meet or even get to ask him a question. RIP
