I'm building my DD which is a 98 sport 4x4. This is something I havw been wanting to do but could not really afford it. Until a few weeks ago i came across a 93XJ which is pictured first for an extremely good deal. I will list all parts that came with the 93 later. The 93 has a blown engine, where as the 98 had a perfectly good 4.0 the 98 is all stock with the exception of the roof rack that came from the 93'.

The 93'
1. 4.5" RE lift
2. Ford 8.8 lsd rear axle with 4.10 gears.
3. Dana 30 front axle. (Haven't pulled diff)
4. New BFG MT 32x11.50
5. Adj track bar
6. Drop pitman
7. Discos
8. Roof rack with 4 KC daylighters.
9. New CB with 2 fire sticks.
I'm probably forgetting something but anyway bought the 93' for $700

The 98' is stock with C8.25 with 3.55 gears, Dana 30 up front. I just started today pulling parts, and ended up with the 8.8 pulled. Got a long way to go bit hopefully it will be here soon blacked out.

The 93'

I'm excited to just realized today that it had extra stuff that I didn't know about when purchased. Like the 4.10 gears and the lsd...thanks I will keep posting as I progress.

Hoping to get the front and rear drive shafts pulled and start removing the front axle and all of the lift components, hopefully I will have this done by Friday if this rain will hold off.

Made a little more progress on the project today. Had a near death experience...had been under the Jeep taking the drive shaft out and then pulled the rock sliders....just had got up and was getting a drink of water and the jeep just fell of all four jack stands....crushed my tool box. Anyway started pulling the control arms off and run into a snag I can't seem to get a couple of bolts out, not sure how I will get them out. Well gotta work tomorrow so maybe just maybe I can get that front axle out Monday if I can get those bolts out.

Finally got the front axle out. The pitman arm was a beast to get off, but I got it. Will be removing small parts from the axle to clean up and paint.
