Project: Better than stock...and beyond?
This is my 10th vehicle in as many years, and I'm really unsure about keeping it longterm. Since this is the case, my first mods will be aimed at fixing the minor issues, and upgrading the basics. I'm pretty much trying to maximize my profit margin if I sell, or lengthen the life of the beast if I keep..
2001 Cherokee Sport
I6, Auto, 2WD, 83k miles
funny story...2nd day the radiator busted so I called a tow truck. He winched it up onto the tilted bed, the chains fell and it rolled off...into a Camry.
new bumper...FREE.

MODS - Phase I
Paint wheels
Bedline: fender flares, bumper caps, body side molding, and roof.
Replace shabby *** stereo
Quadratec Floor liners, Dashmat, and custom fit wheel cover.
Window Tint
I'm budgeting about $400-$500 to do all of this, feasible I think.
I'll post up some better before pics, and update as she progresses. Sorry for the kinda boring start to the build thread...granny always told me once you put something out there it becomes easier to do.

I hope these pics aren't too large...I took a vacation day Friday so I could put in some truck time while I got paid. win-win.
I removed the faded (gray) body side molding, and got rid of all the adhesive residue. I used a hairdryer, a bottle of goo-gone, and a plastic paint scraper to get everything off. This took about 3.5 hours start to finish.
Then I scuffed and taped everything that was to be bedlined. Ended up covering all the bumper caps, the entire rear bumper, all factory fender flares, and the rocker panel all around.
I didn't take too may pics as these mode are super covered on the forum. I think it made a huge difference!
TIME: 7 hours (prep through cleanup)
TOTAL COST: $55.00

Custom Fit Dashboard Cover - $56

Gold Lugnuts - $30
eBay - similar HERE
Headunit and 6.5" speakers (front and rear) - $110
Seriously....give me your thoughts...I feel like I'm getting close to the point where any more money invested might start decreasing my profit margin if I sell it. To date - I have spent $770 on upgrades.
I'm at 91k miles, and the only issue I'm having is overheating at fuel injector 3 - I think it's a fairly common problem.

I'm keeping it...I don't know who I'm kidding.
I just updated my Garage and User Profile! I'm calling this project 40% complete the way it sits. I'll be ordering rock sliders next...any suggestions?

looks good so far, i think you should use the slider money for a budget boost, or even the rough country 3 inch, thats what i did, it gave me more ground and tire clearance and my ride quality stayed exactly the same if not better. happy jeepin, check out my thread, link is in the signature.
