My thoughts exactly. I see it as positives all around. Kid learned very valuable lesson, his parents reinforced they are the ones in charge & I got another XJ!

Love the way you think outside the box. You give me the I can do anything to my XJ feeling making it as individual as the person driving it!!! Kudos to you.

Primed the front here. Time to put it back together & get it on the trail for the Two Rivers Jeep Club run this weekend! I have a lot of little things left to do like wiring lights, cb, etc., but I can wheel Saturday w/o that stuff.

My beautiful assistant

Completed tire carrier w/ jerry can holder. Still gotta find a place for my hilift, just unsure as to location.

And painted ....

I know I say it often, but I really do appreciate the kind words guys.
So I finished Stage 1 tonight and moved it outside the shop. Ready to wheel Saturday now! Still have to put skin on my fenders, wire & stuff before road legal but thats not what I really care about, haha Will get plenty of pics this weekend but until the kids pine wood derby cars are done I've gotta put the rest of the project on hold, although it won't be long until I get them finished. Here's the last few I snapped tonight.

Well, Murphy was at it again. Was pulling out of shop when I heard a loud POP and had trouble steering. It seems the steering box spacer has broken and I couldn't go wheelin'... All that work to be stopped by a spacer! I'm just thankful the good Lord let it break down there instead of on the trail, it was slicker than all get out. My hope is that I can fab up a new spacer and get back on the road.
