Default Project 1998 4dr 5speed: Least to Beast!

Just picked up my 2nd XJ yesterday. 149k on the odo, paid 2k for her. The lady's son went to jail a few months ago, and she was tired of seeing the truck in the driveway lol. The plans are to lift her, but I will make specific decisions on that later. For now, she needs some TLC, including a new radiator, and I have to hunt down the check engine code. It is a no rust XJ, which is why I was willing to overlook the minor issues. That, and the pricetag.

Here is how she sat when I got her.

Thanks shirey, me too.

Yea I was happy to see a 4dr 5speed pop up in my area on craigslist. Soon as I saw she was rust free I couldn't resist!

Picked up this $20 code reader off ebay.

...and pulled the following codes:
p0132
p0135
p0138
p0141

All these codes are o2 sensor related.
After some quick research, I learned to check the O2S fuse:

... it's the 15 blue in the row closest to the relays. Low and behold...

Just need to pop a new 15 in and hope it doesn't blow again

Nice. Congrats on the purchase. Good to see another 5 speed getting used and taken care of by an enthusiast.

Yes sir. I cleared the code this morning, ran her for a bit, and no more codes. Yay Now, either the oil pan, or the rear main seal is leaking a little. Once I fix that, it'll be time to get her inspected.
