Hello to all of you
I have registerd here becouse i have a question and i thought i might get some help here. In Europe we dont get so many modifications that include V8 into XJ. I know for a few, but this were mostly 5.2 or 5.9 engines from GC.

So...I have 3 Cherokees, one is currnetly a daily driver, non modified, the second one is a 4.0 liter 2 door that is soon to become a daily driver, when modifications ( 4.5 " lift kit, 33x12.5x15, new paint....) are done.

And the third one is also a 2 door 1999 XJ, without engine...

And a few days ago i got my hands on totaly crashed non reparable Corvette C5 with working engine, transmission....

What i would like to do is to put the corvette engine&transmissin into XJ. With rear axle. I would made it only RWD and for road use only. taht means lowering and with 20" rims, widebody....
I know i will hear some critics....but I allready have an offroader and 4.0 liter engine is more than enough for off road drive that i do. So....another project might happen....

What i would like to ask is if anybody has done conversion as such and if he would be kind enough to give any advice on what i shoold be carefoul. Also lowering the XJ is a problem...at front is easy, how should i do it at the back??
We have some expirience with conversions, mostly on road cars, 2 off roads have been made also, but putting together a Corvette and Xj....plus trying to improve road handling to the best that is possible....it gives me a lot to think about.

So if anybody is prepared to give an advice I would be realy thankfoul.
